Hi! Welcome to my academic website.

I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden). Until August 2025, I was employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Behavioral Institutional Design at New York University Abu Dhabi (UAE).

I hold a PhD from the Graduate School of Decision Sciences at the University of Konstanz (Germany). During my PhD studies at the Chair of Applied Research in Economics under the Supervision of Urs Fischbacher, I was working at the Thurgau Economic Institute and teaching at the Chair of Economic and Social Policy.

In my work I rely on experimental methods and typically guide my hypotheses with game theoretical models.  My research interests lie within the sphere of Organizational Economics, encompassing a broad range of topics. These include analyzing and predicting collective action, exploring biases in belief formation, and comparing different institutions to test and improve information flow, information aggregation, and efficiency.

I enjoy presenting my projects at conferences, workshops, and seminars (you can find a list of previous and upcoming talks here) and visiting other departments for research stays, such as Aix-Marseille School of Economics, WU Vienna, Florida State University, University of Arizona, UT Dallas, and the University of Cologne.
